Our stingray encounter tours allow vacationers to experience the unique chance to snorkel alongside the remarkable Atlantic Southern Stingrays. These smooth-skinned creatures are a rare species of ray that can only e found in the Caribbean Sea. Local lore says that these rays are the steadfast sentinels that guard the sunken treasure of William Teach, the legendary pirate better known as Blackbeard. Blackbeard, once known as the scourge of the Caribbean, pillaged countless merchant ships carrying gold and other valuable booty. Blackbeard was known to frequent the port of Nassau as one of his main ports of call. Now you and your kids have the chance to snorkel along with the rays and search for hidden treasures placed by our staff.
We’ll provide transportation and all of the required equipment for a fantastic snorkeling excursion. You will have the rare opportunity to snorkel in the stingray sanctuary with these docile creatures and even touch their surprisingly sleek skin. You will even have the chance to hand feed these animals. You will also have the chance to feed them and to touch their silky smooth skin. These docile creatures will eat right out of your hand. Participants of every age will be delighted by engaging with these graceful creatures.
