While exploring Grand Bahama Island, you can check out the pristine beauty of the mangrove swamps in Lucayan National Park. Under a soothing canopy of red mangroves, guide your vessel through a unique ecosystem that combines elements of both the earth and the water. After a while, this pale blue water takes you into a pine forest where you can witness a dazzling range of flora and fauna, such as some very extraordinary orchids. All the time, your guides, who are well versed in the ecology of the islands, provide you with fascinating details about the landscape and the living beings that inhabit it. Finally, no tour of the Lucayan National Park is complete without a visit to the extensive system of underwater caves that line the region and which is one of the longest in the world.
