Good-natured sea lions delight people with their acrobatic tricks and sociable behavior. Now you can meet sea lions face-to-face on this interactive encounter off the coast of New Providence Island. Cruise out to Blue Lagoon Island in a double-decker catamaran to visit the home of these kind creatures. You will discover amazing facts about sea lions and learn all about their natural habitats, feeding habits, behavior, and training regiments. Find out what you can do to help with sea lion conservation efforts. At Blue Lagoon Island, you will get to see the sea lions in their natural setting and truly begin to appreciate the complexities of their world.
After an informative lecture, the trainers will invite you onto a waist-deep platform where you get to pet and hug (and even kiss!) the sea lions. The trainer will show you special hand gestures to communicate with the animals and to get them to do fun tricks. You can feel their unique coats and hear the peculiar noises they make. Fall in love with these gentle giants while you play with them in the water.

How much do you spend with each sea lion?
Each person is guaranteed between 5 - 8 minutes with the Sea Lions.
How large are the ferries?
The ferries are large double deck catamarans that can carry well over 100 passengers.
What is the weather cancellation policy?
If the activity must be cancelled due to bad weather, and you cannot reschedule, you will be issued a full refund.

- Guests 8 years and older OR 48 inches tall may participate in the Sea Lion Encounter
- Guests ages 8 to 12 must be accompanied by a responsible, paying adult with a ticket for the Sea Lion Encounter
- Guests must have the ability to go up and down ladders to access platform
- Pregnant women are not allowed in swim program
- We are not able to accommodate handicapped persons in the Sea Lion Encounter
- No refunds will be issued for guests that do not meet the program requirements for age, physical fitness, maternity reasons or who violate company policies
- Cameras are NOT permitted while doing any dolphin or sea lion program. Only observers are permitted to have a camera
