Rose Island is a gorgeous setting to just get away from it all. This little island is about 3 miles off the coast of Paradise island, and has no paved road and no residential infrastructure. This means visitors get to pretend they are true castaways as Rose Island is uninhabited and privately owned. This island is known for being the outlet for travelers of Nassau to get away from the hustle and bustle and really feel the world around them slow down.

Just a short ferry ride away from Nassau is the secluded island getaway of the Blue Lagoon Island, Bahamas. The Blue Lagoon Island has exactly what everyone daydreams about while being stuck in the office: pristine white, sandy beaches, palm tree shade, bright and clear, turquoise waters, hammocks and tropical drinks. Like the aborigines of Australia, the Lucayan Indians were the first people of what is now called the Bahamas. The tribe is related to the Taino Indians, who had many living descendants.
