Mignon Guest House

The Mignon Guest House is a 6-room guest house known to be clean and elegant. It has cable TV, air-conditioning, and Wi-Fi internet access. It also has two locked gates to make sure all guests feel safe and secure. The Mignon Guest House is owned by an elderly Greek couple, and is located in the center of Downtown Nassau only two minutes from the famous Bay Street. If you are not sure of what to do in Nassau Bahamas then this prime location and the two experienced locals can help you find the most exciting activities for your next vacation in the Bahamas. It is the perfect place for anybody that wants to enjoy the various tours and activities in the Bahamas and then come home at night to a clean, comfortable, and affordable place to shower and sleep.

La Paloma Guest House

Daine is a welcoming and friendly homeowner in Nassau, the Bahamas and owns the La Paloma Guest House. The La Paloma Guest House is placed on a hilltop with an excellent ocean view. Unlike the Mignon house, this guest house is perfect for vacationers who want to stay outside of the busy city and have a more quiet and peaceful room to relax and sleep at night. Diane and her assistant work diligently to keep the entire house clean and orderly. There is hot water for the shower, clean towels, and good water pressure along with a complimentary WiFi internet and Cable TV connection.

The kitchen is open to guests so you can cook your own meals before starting your daily adventure in the Bahamas. Because the house is located away from many of the things to do in the Bahamas, roughly a twenty minute walk from downtown, a taxi may be necessary to drive back to the La Paloma Guest House at night. Diane has three dogs living at the guest house and they are quite friendly and playful. All in all it's a great and affordable choice for anyone who wants to stay away from the resort-style vacation and have a more quiet and peaceful place to stay.

A Stone’s Throw Away

A Stone's Throw Away is consistently rated one of the top guest houses in Nassau. Collyn, John, Lilly, and the rest of the staff are very friendly and helpful, and you may find yourself conversing with them all night just enjoying the interesting stories of the island life. If you are unsure of what to do in the Bahamas, the local staff is very familiar with all of the main activities and can help you find what you're looking for. One of the staff, John, has a car and will certainly drive you wherever you need to go.

Just like the La Paloma Guest House, it is located in the more local part of the island but is located only a five minute walk away from a beautiful public beach. There are also Potcake dogs near by (a mixed breed local to the Bahamas) and they are very playful and energetic. The food is exquisite and you may even notice some of the neighbors visiting the house for dinner. There is also a pool that you can use and a breathtaking view of the Atlantic from the window. There is also a bar stocked with anything you could hope for and a complimentary guest computer and WiFi is also included. All in all, A Stone's Throw Away is the perfect spot for solo, couples, or family travelers looking for an enriching cultural experience in Nassau.
