The Born Free Overview

The 35-foot Allman Sports Fisher, known as the Born Free II and which is piloted by our very own Captain Rodney, is one of our top performing vessels. Depending on your needs and expectations, Captain Rodney can take you out for some excellent deep sea fishing or, for a shorter trip, stay closer to home and fish the reefs near the coastline.

For the deep sea fishing enthusiast, we offer charters that will take you out to the deeper waters surrounding New Providence and Paradise Island. Just a little ways out from the shore, the warm, tropical water makes a sudden drop in depth from 100 feet to more than 1000 feet, which, combined with a change in water temperature, makes for the perfect conditions where you can find all types of sports fishes. To name only a few of the trophy fish you have a chance of catching, you could find marlin, sailfish, wahoo, dolphin, kingfish and barracuda. The ideal conditions here mean that the sea will be teeming with a plentitude of these mighty aquatic beasts.

Captain Rodney has drawn a steady line of returning customers due to his keen abilities at navigating and deep-sea angling and some of his customers have been returning for over 20 years. The Born Free II possesses excellent amenities, including a comfortable cabin, clean bathroom and a shaded deck equipped with benches. This boat also includes top quality Penn International rods and reels, which can be used for deep sea and light tackle fishing and a number of different lures and live bait.
