At Blue Lagoon Island, you will get to see the sea lions in their natural setting and truly begin to appreciate the complexities of their world.
After an informative lecture, the trainers will invite you onto a waist-deep platform where you get to pet and hug (and even kiss!) the sea lions. The trainer will show you special hand gestures to communicate with the animals and to get them to do fun tricks. You can feel their unique coats and hear the peculiar noises they make. Tour Restrictions
- Guests 8 years and older OR 48 inches tall may participate in the Sea Lion Encounter
- Guests ages 8 to 12 must be accompanied by a responsible, paying adult with a ticket for the Sea Lion Encounter
- Guests must have the ability to go up and down ladders to access platform
- Pregnant women are not allowed in swim program
- We are not able to accommodate handicapped persons in the Sea Lion Encounter
