Leave Nassau harbor on board the stylish, double-decked catamaran, the M/V Blue Manta, to go snorkeling at one of the many, awe-inspiring reefs that can be found all over the serene, tropical waters surrounding The Bahamas.

Along the way to your destination, enjoy the music of the islands as we provide you with an overview of the rich history of Nassau. This city has certainly seen a great deal of action as many European powers once vied for its control. Colonial buildings and statues can still be seen standing in Nassau today. The island was also the home to pirates, who held forts along its shores and used them as home bases for launching naval attacks and plundering unsuspecting ships. Some of the more notorious pirates to call the Bahamas home were Henry Morgan and William Teach, also known as Blackbeard. As you enjoy our music and historical narrative, help yourself to snacks and drinks from our cash bar.

When you arrive at the snorkeling destination, we will provide you with everything you need to go exploring, including mask, snorkels and fins. Put on your gear and jump into the transparent waters of the sea. This part of the Caribbean is famous for having the world’s clearest water and you can see to depths of over 200 feet. Savor the chance to bathe in this wonderfully cool water and look down to the sea floor where you can observe a delightful abundance of marine life. Some of the things you will get to see include coral reef formations in a multitude of different colors, brain corals and sponges and other aquatic animals. The reefs are home to manta rays, groupers, angelfishes and stingrays as well as a variety of sea turtles and conch, which is a staple of Bahamian cuisine.
